Don't call any of the hosting venues for information regarding BarPlays.  Contact us.  They are being great by providing space.  Allow us to provide information, including schedules for specific venues.   If we can't do it somewhere on this site, we'll do it for you by email.

Food service varies by venue.  Please check the individual pages for the bars for more information in that regard.

We wanted to perform plays in bars.  They were already hosting a reading night on Thursdays. Guess what?  We're going to be performing some plays there on Thursdays.

  • How to Become a Lesbian in Ten Days or Less by Leigh Hendrix directed by Leigh Hendrix  Instructional excerpts from Leigh Hendrix and her multi character one woman show.
  • Tipping by Jill Blevins directed by Mathew Provost An entirely appropriate subject for a play set in a bar
  • What Hope is About by James Celenza Two vets from two wars explore the ground between them. 

 

Thursday June 24 at 7pm:

  • So Far Away by David Eliet directed by Robin Stone Two old friends meet for a quiet conversation 
  • Dust on the Bible by Mark Cook directed by Mathew Provost Sex. Politics. Religion.
  • Tipping by Jill Blevins directed by Mathew Provost An entirely appropriate subject for a play set in a bar
